A small shop that buys what is good that morning.
Harbour & Petal is a fictional shop created to demonstrate STEM. In this demonstration it is a small Halifax studio that buys from local growers, makes everything by hand, and delivers around the harbour by van. No real orders are accepted.
Bought close to home
Most of the stems come from growers in the Annapolis Valley and around the basin, with imported flowers kept for what cannot grow here.
Made on the day
Nothing sits made in a cooler for two days. The bench is set each morning and the work is arranged in the order it leaves the shop.
Kept simple
One size range, honest photography, and a person on the phone. If something is not right, we will fix it rather than explain it away.
